The Hilditch group of companies consists of Hilditch Auctioneers, Hilditch Medical Ltd and Supply Lines Ltd.

The companies are all intrinsically connected but provide different related services.

Supply Lines Ltd is a clearance company, specialising in the clearance of large institutions such as schools, hospitals and factories. Supply Lines Ltd also purchases equipment. Supply Lines Ltd has cleared a large number of hospitals, both for the NHS and private healthcare groups. It has also purchased large quantities of "B" stock from companies such as Electrolux, Oneida and other manufacturers.

When carrying out a large clearance, Supply Lines Ltd will provide skips and expertise to clear the unsaleable items and will liaise with Hilditch and Hilditch Medical Ltd for the sale of assets on site, often resulting in the client offsetting all their disposal costs from the sale of surplus equipment, and usually in the client receiving a substantial cheque as well.

Hilditch and Hilditch Medical Ltd are dedicated to selling assets on behalf of a range of clients. Hilditch Medical Ltd was established in 2006 specifically to offer a service to the Health Sector and we currently have over 120 NHS Trusts that use us on a regular basis to sell medical assets. Hilditch Medical Ltd hold a medical equipment sale once a month at our Malmesbury saleroom; the only medical equipment auction in the UK. As well as regular sales in Malmesbury, we also hold sales on site.

Hilditch Auctions is a partnership, and the original company in the group founded in 1990 by Mike and Nicky Hilditch. Although Nicky is a qualified radiotherapy radiographer, Mike and Nicky have worked as a team for over 20 years, managing a number of auction departments across the UK.

Mike Hilditch has been auctioneering for 28 years (starting at an unbelievably young age!) and in that time he has sold almost everything conceivable from livestock through to heavy industrial machinery.

Hilditch Auctions reflects this breadth of experience by also offering a complete and extensive service, selling all types of commercial, industrial and general chattels. Hilditch hold the largest catering equipment auction in the country and sell equipment on behalf of many major manufacturers.

THE STAFF

Mark Lewis
Company Accountant

Mark worked for the company for 8 years before being overtaken by a desire to see the world (or Norwich) - he's back now after a 3 year break - what he doesn't know about Hilditch Accounts isn't worth knowing.

Neill Saint FNAVA
Saleroom Manager and Auctioneer

Neill spent a former life as owner and landlord of the very pleasant Neeld Arms in Grittleton, where he is a leading pillar of the Community; being a parish councillor and keen golfer. Neill is also on the executive committee of The National Association of Valuers & Auctioneers.

Gina Cassidy
Front Office Manager

Gina mans the front office and may be your first point of call for all general auction enquiries. She is also responsible for email communication and catalogues.

Gemma Ravenhill
Transport Co-ordinator

Gemma is responsible for organising transport, arranging advertising and is part of the sales and marketing team. She relaxes by playing the saxophone and watching soaps.

Tony Petrou
Medical Engineer

Tony has joined us from the NHS and is in charge of medical equipment testing - he also is heavily involved in developing our charity The Amalthea Trust - dedicated to providing training for medical engineers in developing counties. He is a keen cyclist and nearly competed in the Tour de France - but something good was on telly.

Carl Hilditch
On Site Manager

Carl has spent many a happy hour wandering the corridors of empty hospitals in his role as OSM having cleared over 70 sites in his time at Hilditch. He is now looking forward to the new tranche of PFI's which, for variety, might include the odd empty school!
